Late Musings: Lent Day 4, Retreat Day 2

Ah, retreat Saturday, the longest day of the retreat. Mass was nice. Mass is always nice. After all, the Donatist Controversy already cleared that one up lol. Maybe that should be a topic for a post at a later time. Anyway, if there’s anything I never got to fix in retreat, it’s my sleep schedule; for the 3rd time in a row I fell asleep in the middle of the men’s group speaker. On the bright side, Adoration and Confession was always good. We did a Rosary in Latin, Chaplet of Divine Mercy, and Compline at midnight. T’was a spiritually fulfilling evening. Ended it with friends and family (brother and cousin) and I would say I was content.

Collect: Almighty ever-living God, look with compassion and ensure us your protection by stretching forth the right hand of your majesty. Through our Lord Jesus Christ, your Son, who lives and reigns with you in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, for ever and ever.
